Two members in OCAC, Hsien-Hsu Chu and Chia-Jen Chen, occupies the co-curators in After the E. Young artists together with their art are invited to the exhibit. Under the concept of the E generation, After the E has the youth’s new logic, impacted by the Internet and cyber media, be at issue. However, reverse operation is applied to the process of discussion. What it displays are not terms for new media technology but great numbers of man-operating works to present the contradiction. Another feature in the exhibit is to abandon the traditional partitioned space and to utilize Chinese radishes, commonly seen in markets, as the partitions, pedestals and the route for visitors. Steeping in such an absurd artificial environment, people are able to sense the reality and the hypothermia due to the tech device.
