South Circuit Tour stop 9 : Come and Share A Bowl of Minced Pork Rice

South Circuit environmental touring project is centred around a participative performance piece by a ceramic artist. The small truck will host minced pork rice dish by donation, and various moving image artwork (ex. video art, documentary). The audience are invited to come and watch the video while enjoying the minced pork rice dish.

The tour stops at the major cities between Kaohsiung and Taipei, as well as the topical town and regions by the artists involved, and the sites of pollution discussed in the artwork. The project also foster exchanges with local residences in understanding their point of views and gathering field information.

This group of artists stands as minority in the process of art making in views of changing environmental issues. They even face many obstacles in field research and in art production. They often feel powerless, but never lonely. Their share believes supported their efforts, and together bring forward the strength in the artwork.

This stop 9 is at the new OCAC address in Ganzhou Street, Taipei. Please come share a bowl of minced pork rice with us.
